Ratia, August 1: An inter-house investiture ceremony was organized at PL Jindal Convent School. During the event, the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice-Captains, Sports Captains, Cultural Captains, and Prefects were selected. The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Administrator Tarsem Jindal, Mohan Jain, and Principal Mona Taneja. Subsequently, Kuldeep (son of Sh. Amarnath) from Class XI was appointed Head Boy, and Navreet Kaur (daughter of Sh. Baldev Singh), also from Class XI, was appointed Head Girl. Additionally, captains, vice-captains, and prefects for all the houses were announced.
Priya Garg (Class XII) was appointed Captain and Prabhjot Kaur (Class IX) Vice-Captain of the Aravalli House. For the Himalaya House, Jasmine Kaur (Class XII) was named Captain and Ghazaldeep (Class XII) Vice-Captain. In the Nilgiri House, Akriti (Class XI) was appointed Captain and Jyoti Kaur (Class XI) Vice-Captain. Sonika (Class XII) was appointed Captain and Muskan (Class XI) Vice-Captain of the Shivalik House. Girls dominated the positions of House Captains and Vice-Captains across all houses. Furthermore, eight prefects were selected from each house.
School Chief Directors Tarsem Jindal and Mohan Jain, along with Principal Mona Taneja, honored the students with their respective badges. They conveyed a message urging the students to inspire their peers to fulfill their responsibilities within the school with utmost discipline. The students took an oath to remain honest towards the school, perform their duties diligently, and encourage other students to do the same. Addressing the gathering, School Management Committee members Tarsem Jindal and Mohan Jain, along with Principal Mona Taneja, extended their best wishes, encouraging everyone to strive sincerely and become a source of inspiration for others. They remarked that such activities foster leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility among students, which is why the school committee organizes this event annually. All staff members were also present on the occasion.
