Garhshankar:- The Eco Club of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, under the guidance of the NSS Department of Panjab University Chandigarh, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, organized a poster making competition for students under the Environmental Education Program.
Volunteers from five groups formed in the name of the Panj Pyares of NSS participated in these competitions, out of which Pallavi Banga and Gurinder Kaur secured the first place, Diksha Thakur and Gurjot Kaur secured the second place and Anamika, Sania and Chanchal secured the third place.
Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira encouraged the students to always strive for environmental conservation and congratulated the winning students. Senior Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, NSS Program Officer Dr. Arvinder Singh, Eco Club Incharge Dr. Naresh Kumari honored the winning students by giving away prizes.
