Portrait of Lord Shri Vishwakarma Released by Speaker Sandhwan
Patiala:- Shri Bhagwan Vishwakarma Mandir Committee (Regd. 1429), Lahori Gate, Patiala, got a special five-faced portrait of Lord Shri Vishwakarma Ji released by Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan at Chandigarh.
Committee President Amarjit Singh Ramgarhia said that this portrait has been prepared by renowned late artist Gobinder Sohal. The portrait depicts the five-faced form of Lord Shri Vishwakarma Ji, while a brief history of Lord Shri Vishwakarma Ji has also been written below it, through which people will be able to obtain information about his life and contributions. He said that the committee has been striving for a long time to spread awareness among people about the life, teachings and history of Lord Shri Vishwakarma Ji, and this portrait is also a part of that effort.
On this occasion, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that Lord Shri Vishwakarma Ji is a symbol of creativity, hard work and skill. He said that such initiatives are very important for connecting society with the ideology and heritage of its great personalities. Appreciating this initiative taken by the committee, he said that it would prove helpful in connecting the younger generation with its religious and cultural heritage.
On this occasion, Committee Chairman Ram Kishan Rallan, Senior Vice President Surjit Singh Dhiman, Vice President Baljinder Singh Jandu, Secretary Jagjit Singh Saggu, Press Secretary Gurdeep Singh Mehta, Manager Contractor Gurbachan Singh, Treasurer Aman Gaheer, Jatinder Singh Ramgarhia, Satwinder Singh Montu and other distinguished members of the Ramgarhia community were present.
