Police vehicles involved in VIP security in Punjab to be vigilant DGP
Chandigarh- After Lieutenant General (retd) DS Hooda alleged that a vehicle involved in Punjab Police security hit his vehicle, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav today ordered the security personnel deployed on VIP duty to be gentle with people on the road and behave respectfully.
Mr. Hooda had alleged that a Punjab Police vehicle hit his car on the Zirakpur flyover in Mohali and fled, and after posting on X in this matter, he tagged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and DGP Gaurav Yadav.
After this, the DGP said that as a professional security force, the Punjab Police follows a policy of never tolerating misconduct and protecting people while going on the road and respecting people is the basis of this policy.
