Physical Test for Pashu Mitra Recruitment Held in Gagret 47 Candidates Participate
Una, April 21 – A physical efficiency test for the selection of 'Pashu Mitras' (Animal Friends) within the Animal Husbandry Department was successfully conducted today (Tuesday) at the sports ground of the Government Senior Secondary School, Ambeta. The examination was carried out in a systematic manner under the guidance of the 'Pashu Mitra Engagement Committee,' constituted under the chairmanship of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Gagret, Saumil Gautam.
Virender Patiala, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry, Una, stated that a total of 47 candidates participated in the physical test, comprising 36 male and 11 female aspirants.
Of these, 40 candidates successfully cleared the physical test and have advanced to the next stage of the selection process; this group includes 30 male and 10 female candidates. The proceedings involving the successful candidates were also videographed to ensure transparency in the selection process. The successful candidates will now be invited to the subsequent stage of the selection process, which involves document verification and an interview.
The examination was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Senior Veterinary Officer at the Animal Husbandry Department.
He further informed that, as part of the physical efficiency test, it was mandatory for male candidates to complete a 5,000-meter race within 30 minutes, while female candidates were required to complete a 1,500-meter race within 10 minutes.
Present on this occasion were Physical Education Teacher Deepak Sharda, along with a medical team, departmental officers, and staff members.
