Pensioners Association strongly condemns the lathi charge by Patiala Police
Nawanshahr:- Pensioners Association Circle Nawanshahr Circle President Kulwinder Singh Atwal Circle Secretary Ashwani Kumar Garshankari and Circle Finance Secretary Vijay Kumar issued a joint statement and strongly condemned the brutal lathi charge by the Punjab Police on the children who have passed ITI and are apprentices in Powercom, who have been struggling for a long time in front of the Powercom head office, Patiala.
They said that the Punjab government and the management of the Electricity Board should peacefully protest against the children who are qualified, fill the vacant posts under CRA in Powercom by appointing linemen, assistant linemen and conduct paddy season so that the people can get uninterrupted electricity supply.
We have demanded that these unemployed children be given employment by accepting their legitimate and legitimate demands, and that strict legal action be taken against the police personnel who lathi-charged them and that justice be given to these unemployed children. He said that his organization will be forced to wage a fierce struggle in favor of the victims, the government will be responsible for the consequences.
