Patriots honour daughter of martyr Amar Singh Acharwal

Jalandhar- When fake police encounters were carried out in Punjab like other parts of the country to suppress the communist revolutionary movement, the village of Acharwal in Ludhiana district was in the headlines.
The people of this town, and especially Amar Singh Acharwal, played a glorious role in upholding the glorious tradition of writing a story of their unique identity and heritage in the Kuka movement, the Ghadar movement and the fronts organized for the public interest from time to time.
At that time, Amar Singh Acharwal's family and young daughters faced the harshest storms in the villages.
Today, after reaching the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall, visiting the library and museum, Harbans Kaur, daughter of Shaheed Amar Singh Acharwal, General Secretary of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Prithipal Singh Marimegha, Assistant Secretary Charanji Lal Kanganiwal, Senior Member of the Committee Surinder Kumari Kochhar and Convener of the Cultural Wing Amolak Singh felicitated her by presenting her with books on behalf of the committee. It may be recalled that the father of Shaheed Amar Singh Acharwal and Surinder Kumari Kochhar, Comrade Gandharv Sen Kochhar, was a fellow member of the Communist Revolutionary Movement.
Today, the daughters of both the personalities Harbans Kaur and Surinder Kumari Kochhar shared historical memories. Along with sister Harbans Kaur Gosal, Mandeep Singh Gosal was also present at the ceremony of this honour. They said that like every year, they will provide full support for the success of the Ghadri Babas' Fair and will attend the fair along with their families.
