Patiala Social Welfare Society Honors Commissioner Pooja Grewal
Patiala:- The Patiala Social Welfare Society has been engaged in public welfare works for the past 25 years. The society organizes medical camps, blood donation camps, and encourages children in their education. It is also actively working to curb female foeticide. To encourage children to become responsible citizens, the society honors those who excel in merit. Additionally, the society is making efforts to eradicate plastic usage; so far, they have distributed over 1.50 lakh cloth or jute bags.
These thoughts were shared by Commissioner Pooja Grewal while welcoming the members of the Patiala Social Welfare Society who honored her after she assumed charge as the Municipal Corporation Commissioner. Mrs. Pooja Grewal is an efficient officer in the Municipal Corporation. During her tenure in various posts, she has left a significant mark.
She also served as the ADC in Patiala, where she performed commendable work. The government has made a great decision by appointing her as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation. On this occasion, Additional Commissioner Mrs. Simpreet (PCS) and Amit Kumar Goyal were also present.
