Park Hospitals Announces the Launch of its Panchkula Hospital
Panchkula: The Park Group of Hospitals announced on Friday the launch of its state-of-the-art multi-super specialty hospital in Panchkula. The new Panchkula hospital has been developed to cater to the growing demand for tertiary and quaternary care services across Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh. By making high-level medical facilities accessible to patients, the hospital aims to reduce the reliance on metropolitan cities like Delhi for advanced treatments.
The new 350-bed Park Hospital is the largest hospital in Panchkula to date; it features 120 ICU beds and has been designed to provide high-level care. It houses 10 modular operation theaters and an advanced neuro-capable Cath Lab, and is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including the Da Vinci X robot and facilities for joint replacement surgeries.
The hospital is outfitted with state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities, modular operation theaters, and critical care infrastructure, and will provide comprehensive care across key specialties such as Oncology, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Critical Care—including robotic-assisted procedures. Designed with a special focus on high-acuity care, a significant number of beds in this hospital are dedicated to intensive care services.
Dr. Ankit Gupta, Managing Director of the Park Group of Hospitals, stated, "The launch of our facility in Panchkula, along with our upcoming expansion in Mohali, marks a significant step toward building a comprehensive, integrated healthcare system in North India. With a combined capacity of approximately 850 beds across the Tri-city region, we are strengthening our ability to deliver advanced, high-acuity care closer to our patients."
"Our focus lies on establishing Centers of Excellence in key specialties, while simultaneously delivering high-quality care on a large scale by leveraging technology and operational efficiency." Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Group CEO and Whole-Time Director of Park Hospitals, stated, "The Panchkula hospital has been designed to deliver seamless, patient-centric care, supported by robust clinical governance and modern infrastructure. By combining full-time clinical expertise with advanced technology and well-planned patient engagement, our goal is to enhance treatment outcomes and the overall patient experience across the entire region."
