Park Hospital Panchkula Launches Dedicated Heart Valve Clinic

Panchkula: Park Hospital, Panchkula announced the launch of its dedicated 'Heart Valve Clinic' on Saturday; the clinic will operate every Thursday. It will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, medical management, valve repair, valve replacement surgery, and post-operative rehabilitation—all under one roof.
The clinic will be managed by Dr. Siddharth Garg (Director – CTVS), Dr. Amit Goyal (Consultant – Cardiologist), Dr. Syed Wahid (Cardiac Surgeon), and Dr. Arjun Pratap Joshi (Associate Director – Cardiac Anesthesia).
Dr. Siddharth Garg noted that people often ignore early warning signs—such as shortness of breath, fatigue, and chest discomfort—until the condition progresses to severe heart failure. He stated that delaying treatment can cause permanent damage to the heart muscle, whereas timely valve replacement can significantly improve survival rates, quality of life, and functional capacity.
Dr. Amit Goyal said, "Symptoms such as shortness of breath while walking, chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, fainting spells, swelling in the legs, and persistent fatigue should never be ignored. Timely diagnosis through echocardiography, ECG, and advanced cardiac imaging enables doctors to initiate treatment before permanent damage occurs to the heart."
