Pakistans stamp on Chinas role during Operation Sindhur Said We agree
Islamabad:- Pakistan has supported China's claim that Beijing played a key role in reducing tensions between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindhur last year. Terming it as 'diplomacy for peace', Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said that during the critical days of May 6 to 10, the Chinese leadership was in touch with both Pakistan and India.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently listed the India-Pakistan tension as an issue in which China mediated in the list of world disputes for 2025. On the other hand, India, as always, has categorically rejected any third party intervention.
India has maintained that the tension that arose after Operation Sindhur, which was launched in response to the Pahalgam attack, was resolved through direct talks between the Director Generals of Military Operations of both countries. It is worth noting that during this conflict, Pakistan used Chinese weapons, which shows its defense dependence on Beijing. India has reiterated that there is no scope for any external country to intervene in issues related to Pakistan.
