Paddy harvesting is in full swing in the district

Karnal, October 14 - Deputy Director of Agriculture, Wazir Singh, stated that paddy harvesting is in full swing in the district, with approximately 60 percent of the paddy already harvested. Many farmers are performing excellent work in crop residue management.
As a result, no active fire locations have been detected in the district so far. He added that the department is continuously contacting farmers and organizing demos to demonstrate the in-situ and in-situ management practices to other farmers.
As part of this, programs for stubble management will be organized in various villages on October 15 at 2:00 pm. Success stories will be created by contacting progressive farmers.
