Over 1000 Participants Join Run for Unity SSP Flags Off the Event

Hoshiarpur: The 'Run for Unity' was organized through the joint efforts of GNA University, the Fit Biker Club, Sachdeva Stocks, and the District Administration; over 1,000 people participated in this event. At 7:00 AM, SSP Sandeep Malik flagged off the 'Run for Unity' from the headquarters of Sachdeva Stocks. The route proceeded from there through Shimla Pahari Chowk, Thana Sadar Chowk, and Yodha Mal Road, concluding back at the Sachdeva Stocks office.
T-shirts were distributed to the 500 individuals who had pre-registered for the 'Run for Unity,' and many participants took part in the event accompanied by their children. Refreshments were provided to all participants at the conclusion of the event. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Sandeep Malik remarked in his address that the Fit Biker Club makes commendable efforts to guide society in the right direction by organizing such events periodically.
He stated that the campaign launched by the Punjab government to eradicate drug abuse is progressing with great success, and he appealed to the public, emphasizing that the collective support of everyone is essential in the fight against drugs. He further assured that the Police Administration would continue to extend its full cooperation for similar events organized by the Fit Biker Club in the future.
On this occasion, the Club's President, Paramjit Sachdeva, stated that it is imperative for all of us to become more conscious of our health; given the fast pace of modern life, one should set aside some time every day to engage in physical exercise. He expressed his gratitude to all those who participated in the 'Run for Unity' and affirmed that similar events would continue to be organized in the times to come.
He also took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the support extended by GNA University towards this event. Also present on this occasion were Dr. Kunal Bains (Registrar, GNA University), Gurmeet Singh (GNA University), Uttam Singh Sabi, Ranvir Singh Sachdeva, Onkar Singh, Saurav Sharma, Daulat Singh, Rohit Bassi, and Sanjeev Sohal.
