Opposition admits defeat before Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections Bhagwant Mann

Chandigarh:- Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has besieged Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP along with other political parties a day before the voting for Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. Talking to reporters here, the Chief Minister said that the opposition parties have already admitted defeat a day before the polling. That is why the opposition parties are making allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party.
The Chief Minister said that Charanjit Singh Channi, who was the Chief Minister of Punjab for 111 days, had made a statement the other day that ‘AAP’ had printed 100-100 ballot papers at each booth during the elections, on which the broom mark has already been stamped. This makes it clear that the Congress party has already admitted its defeat. That is why it is now trying to blame others for its defeat by spreading misinformation.
Bhagwant Mann said that the Congress party is losing one election after another in the country due to its internal divisions, but instead of reviewing the reasons for its defeat, it is busy blaming others. He said that the Congress has been raising questions on EVMs earlier. After this, it raised the issue of vote theft, which the AAP has also supported, but now the same Congress party is also raising questions on the ballot papers. Similarly, the Akali Dal and the BJP are also busy hurling insults after seeing their defeat.
The Chief Minister said that out of the 347 zones of the Zila Parishad, the AAP is contesting in 346, the Congress in 331, the Shiromani Akali Dal in 298, the BJP in 215, the Bahujan Samaj Party in 50, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) in 4 and 143 independent candidates are in the fray. Similarly, out of 2833 zones of Panchayat Samiti, 351 candidates have won unopposed. This includes 340 from Aam Aadmi Party, three from Congress and 8 independent candidates.
If there is a dispute in one or two places, then it is not right to question the entire election system. He said that Congress, Akali Dal and BJP are not finding people to contest the elections. That is why they are blaming the ruling party. Bhagwant Mann said that the AAP government has done historic works during our three-year tenure, on the basis of which the party is seeking votes.
