Chandigarh, December 19:- Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said that for forming a block in an area or constituency, it is necessary to have a population of one lakh.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi was answering a question on the second day of the winter session.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister said that there are three blocks in Kosli constituency including Nahan, Jatusana, Dehna, whose total population is 3 lakh 8 thousand 729. Therefore, Kosli cannot be given the status of the fourth block in the constituency.
