Ratia, December 20:- OFC Canada Chairman Ravinder Kang was honored with Doctorate Degree by a prestigious Legendary Peace Award Council approved by the Government of India. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Chairperson of the Women's Wing of Ontario Friends Club Canada and Dr. Naib Singh Mander, President of the India Wing, warmly congratulated Chairman Ravinder Singh Kang on receiving the Doctorate Degree and said that Dr. Ravinder Singh Kang has a great work dedicated to social service.
As a big businessman, while he has made social service his religion, he has shown dedication to literary service, especially the preservation of Punjabi heritage. He has established the Ontario Friends Club Canada to serve the mother tongue Punjabi in the field of literature and has made efforts to organize 9 World Punjabi Conferences so far.
Dr. Mander said that Dr. Kang has established IFVO Canada for international peace, Punjabi heritage and conservation of natural resources and is making great efforts to plant trees and save the environment. It is a great honor for this distinguished personality to be awarded the title of doctorate by NITI Aayog.
