Nissan Records 218 Surge in Domestic Sales
Chandigarh: Nissan Motor India has recorded its best-ever monthly wholesale sales for July 2026. Marking another significant milestone in its growth journey, the company has also commenced deliveries of the new Nissan Tecton to customers across India.
The addition of the Tecton has further strengthened Nissan's SUV portfolio, which already includes the Nissan Magnite and Nissan Gravite. The company continues to expand its presence in India by offering a comprehensive product range and delivering an enhanced customer experience.
In July 2026, Nissan recorded domestic wholesale sales of 4,518 units, export wholesale sales of 4,821 units, and total wholesale sales of 9,339 units.
Saurabh Vats, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, stated, "The 218 percent year-on-year growth in domestic wholesale sales in July is a strong indicator that the Nissan brand is steadily gaining momentum in India and that customers are placing their trust in our brand."
Prior to the commencement of Tecton deliveries, the company executed an extensive product launch campaign. This included the global premiere of the Tecton and a spectacular 'Experience Drive' that earned a place in the India Book of Records.
As part of this campaign, a convoy of 60 Nissan Tecton SUVs traveled from Chandigarh to Leh. They set a record for the largest convoy of four-wheeled vehicles of a single model to reach Leh, traversing the Shinku La Pass—situated at an altitude of 16,703 feet—in the Zanskar region.
