Ninth Day of Annual Training Camp Features Live Firing and Cultural Presentations
Hisar:– On the ninth day of the Combined Annual Training Camp organized by the 1 Haryana R&V Squadron NCC at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar, an effective coordination of military, educational, and cultural activities was witnessed. Various training programs were conducted with the objective of the holistic development of the cadets.
The major highlight of the day was the live firing training conducted for the Senior Division (SD) boy cadets. Under the supervision of instructors, cadets received practical training in the safe handling of weapons, safety regulations, and precise marksmanship. The cadets participated in the training with great enthusiasm and discipline.
As part of the camp's first-aid training program, expert lectures were organized on topics such as first-aid for diarrhea and first-aid and management in case of snakebites. Instructors educated the cadets on the importance of immediate assistance, life-saving measures, and first aid during emergency situations.
In the afternoon session, the cadets showcased their versatility by presenting a vibrant cultural program. Patriotic and folk songs, dance, Bhangra, street plays (skits), and other cultural presentations thoroughly entertained all the officers, instructors, and cadets present. The program also highlighted the cadets' self-confidence, creative thinking, leadership ability, and team spirit.
The day concluded with a traditional Barakhana (community feast), where officers, instructors, and cadets shared a collective dinner, further strengthening the spirit of mutual harmony, discipline, and brotherhood.
The camp features a balanced blend of military training, horsemanship skills, health and safety awareness, personality development, cultural activities, and sports, continuously inspiring cadets to become disciplined, responsible, and capable future citizens and leaders.
