Hansi:– A new campaign has been started with the objective of promoting cleanliness in the city's Gandhi Market. Lakshya Rewri, President of Gandhi Market, started this campaign by getting 60 dustbins installed in the market from his personal funds. MLA Vinod Bhayana was mainly present in the program.
Appreciating this initiative, MLA Vinod Bhayana said that participation of every citizen is necessary in building a clean and beautiful city. He called upon the shopkeepers and the general public to maintain cleanliness in the market and to put garbage only in the designated dustbins.
Lakshya Rewri, President of Gandhi Market, said that in view of the problem of dirt in the market, 60 dustbins have been placed outside the shops. He appealed to all the shopkeepers that instead of throwing garbage here and there in the market, they should use these dustbins, so that later the waste can be properly disposed of through the garbage collection tipper vehicle of the Municipal Council.
He said that this campaign will not remain limited to just installing dustbins, but with the cooperation of all the shopkeepers, efforts will be made to make Gandhi Market a clean and organized market.
On this occasion, former President Pappu Chugh, Councillor Ajay Saini, Anil Chawla, Madan Pahwa, Virbhan Malhotra, Neeraj, Akshay Rewri, Lalit Dua, Appu Malhotra, Harish Malhotra along with a large number of shopkeepers were present.
