New Delhi:- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he gets the most love and followers in the world from India. Amidst the changing circumstances in West Asia, India-Israel relations are continuously strengthening. Talking about Israel's regional strategy and technological advancement, Netanyahu said that there is opposition to Israel in many parts of the world, but it is not like that in India at all.
He said, "There is a lot of love for Israel in India. I think I have the most followers in the world from India, although the population there is 1.4 billion (140 crore)."
Describing India as a 'great power', Netanyahu said that his relations with New Delhi are not limited to just the Middle East, but are part of a larger strategy. He also recalled his meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to Netanyahu, many countries of the world, even major powers in Europe, want to join hands with Israel due to its military power, new technology and economic strength. He made it clear that Israel is now expanding its relations not only with its neighboring countries, but also with India, the Mediterranean, the Gulf countries and Africa.
