NCC Yuva Affat Mitra Yojana Camp organized by Haryana Girls Battalion concludes

Ambala, January 29:- The NCC Yuva Affat Mitra Yojana Camp organized by Haryana Girls Battalion, Ambala Cantt under NCC Group Ambala from January 20 to January 29, 2026 at Bharat Scouts and Guides Bhawan Ambala Cantt concluded today. The objective of this camp was to provide comprehensive training in disaster management to NCC cadets and prepare them to help the community in emergency situations. The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri Hari Krishna Ji, Under Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Haryana and Colonel Nitesh Singh, Camp Commandant.
During the camp, the cadets received comprehensive training in dealing with different types of disasters, rescuing and evacuating the injured, first aid and emergency response techniques. The training was conducted in collaboration with organizations like National Disaster Management Authority, Haryana State Disaster Management Authority, Red Cross, Fire Department and Civil Defence. Lectures were given by experts and practical exercises were conducted.
Organized under the able guidance of Camp Commandant Col. Nitesh Singh, 260 male and female NCC cadets from Panchkula and Yamunanagar districts received training in this camp. After the successful completion of the camp, the cadets were nominated as “Yuva Affat Mittra” so that they can assist the civil administration and local communities during natural or man-made disasters in future.
