Hisar:– "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign was celebrated enthusiastically today by 1 Haryana Remount and Veterinary Squadron NCC at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Hisar. Under the campaign, tree plantation drive was conducted in both old and new campuses of the university. 
Colonel Vineet Butola, Commanding Officer, 1 Haryana R&V Squadron NCC, Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Director Student Welfare, College of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Lieutenant (Dr.) Narendra Singh, ANO, NCC cadets, permanent instructor staff and civilian staff of 1 Haryana Remount and Veterinary Squadron NCC enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive.
"Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign is dedicated to respect and gratitude towards mother power along with environmental protection. On this occasion, through tree plantation, NCC cadets and staff gave a message of contributing to building a clean, green and environment-protected India.
