NCC cadets trained in traffic safety and first aid
Patiala:- Following the orders of Senior Superintendent of Police Patiala, Traffic Police Education Cell, at the annual training camp being run by 14 Punjab NCC Battalion, trained students from different districts of Punjab. Inspector Sarabjit Kaur gave information about rules, laws, principles, duties, patience, peace, humility and right of way (right of way on roads) for traffic safety and about license, pollution, RC, insurance, helmet seat belt, rear view mirror, brakes, speed limit.
ASI Ram Saran gave information about the use of 112/108/101 numbers to get help from police, ambulance, fire brigade during accidents and 1930 numbers for cyber security. Retired Training Officer of Indian Red Cross Shri Kaka Ram Verma gave training on ABC, recovery/ventilator position, CPR, checking pulse and respiration to save the injured, unconscious, heart attack, cardiac arrest victims from dying.
Camp Commandant and other NCC officers thanked and said that in today's time, by giving information about disaster management, first aid, fire safety, traffic rules, laws, principles, duties to the cadets, they are being made helpful angels of the victims and loyal, responsible, honest citizens of the country.
