NCC Annual Training Camp starts at 1 PB RV SQN NCC Vet Varsity
Ludhiana 06 October 2025- An Annual Training Camp (ATC) commenced at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. It was started at 1 Punjab Remount & Veterinary Squadron NCC, located at Varsity campus with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
The ten days camp aims to provide holistic training to NCC cadets, focusing on discipline, leadership, physical fitness, and social responsibility. 113 cadets from the College of Veterinary Science and Govt Smart Senior secondary school, PAU joined the camp.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Col. A Shrinivas Rao, Officer Commanding, 1 PB R&V SQN NCC, who addressed the cadets and emphasized the importance of commitment, teamwork, and nation-building. He also encouraged cadets to actively participate in all camp activities, including drill, weapon training, cultural events, yoga, and community service.
The ATC featured a structured schedule of training sessions, guest lectures by Armed forces officers, Associate NCC officers, Faculty from Skill development Centre’s and civil dignitaries, career counseling, and competitions to instill confidence and a sense of duty among the youth.
During camp cadets also participated in the Blood Donation Camp organized in collaboration with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. Around 20 students including the Army Staff participated in this noble cause.
The camp reflects the core values of the National Cadet Corps and aims to shape cadets into responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation.
