Naxals trigger blast in Jharkhand CRPF jawan martyred

Ranchi- A CRPF jawan died after being injured in an IED blast during an anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand. Officials said that on Friday, paramilitary forces had launched a search operation in the Naxal violence-hit area of ??Babudera-Samta Dhuri under the limits of Jaraikela police station in West Singhbhum district.
They said that during this, the Naxals detonated an IED blast, due to which Head Constable Mahendra Laskar (45) was injured. He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries early today. The jawan hailed from Assam and belonged to the 60th battalion of the CRPF.
