Naunidh Immigration Pvt Ltd Firm License Suspended for Three Months

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 07: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Smt. Geetika Singh has suspended the license issued to Naunidh Immigration Pvt. Ltd., SCO No. 78, First Floor, Gilco Complex, Gilco Valley, Sector 127, Mundi Kharar, Tehsil Kharar, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for the work of consultancy and travel agency for three months with immediate effect.
As per the orders issued by Additional District Magistrate Smt. Geetika Singh, the owner of this firm, Mr. Narinder Singh son of Late Sardar Ranjit Singh and Smt. Harpreet Kaur wife of Sardar Narinder Singh, both residents of House No. 686, Gilco Villas, Sector 127, Kharar. They were issued with License No. 692/IC dated 17.07.2024 for the work of Consultancy/Travel Agency, which is valid up to 16.07.2029.
He informed that instructions were given to the firm regarding the reports, advertisement/seminar information and half-yearly reports sent by the office. Despite this, the licensee did not send the monthly reports, self-declaration form and information regarding seminar/advertisements to this office under the Act, Rules and Advisory. Apart from this, no documents were also submitted regarding the half-yearly reports to be sent to the Home Affairs and Justice Department, Government of Punjab.
He said that a notice was issued to the firm in this regard, but no reply or report was received despite the lapse of the prescribed time. Due to the licensee not submitting the monthly report as per the prescribed rules and the office being closed, Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012 has been violated.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under the said section, the license of Naunidh Immigration Pvt. Ltd. No. 692/IC dated 17.07.2024, has been suspended for a period of three months with effect from 30.10.2025.
A notice has been issued to the licensee giving 15 days to clarify its position.
