Nahauni village player Aryan wins gold medal in international competition in Indonesia
Ambala, February 22:- Nahauni village player Aryan Gulhati, who won a gold medal for India in the International Children's Badminton Competition held in Indonesia from February 3 to February 19, was given a grand welcome and honoured during a function at the village's Pal Chaupal.
The function was attended by family relatives, village residents and prominent political figures including BJP District President Mandeep Rana, Goldie Saini, Monica Kalra, HSSC member Amar Singh Nandgarh, former minister Karan Dev, Jasmer Rana, Sandeep Saini, Sarpanch Suresh Kumar, Sant Gurmeet Singh Dhanaura, Ankush Sharma, Shamsher Gauri and BJP OBC Morcha State Vice President Ramesh Pal Nahauni who blessed Aryan.
The villagers showered Aryan with garlands of flowers and notes. On this occasion, Ramesh Pal Nahauni said that Aryan's achievement has brought glory to his village. If Aryan can get a job as per the government policy, he will request the government to give him a job.
Earlier, family and relatives reached Delhi airport to pick up Aryan where they welcomed him by playing drums. After coming from Delhi, he paid obeisance at Shri Guru Ravidas Dharam Asthan, Sirasgarh where Sant Mandeep Das presented him with a siropa. After that, Aryan was taken to the village in a convoy of cars and bikes from Saha Chowk where a road show was taken out in the village and market.
Let us tell you that Aryan's father Rajneesh Kumar runs a grocery shop in the village while mother Poonam is a teacher in a government school. Aryan credits his success to his parents, coach Sushil Kumar and Ashutosh Rana, secretary of the Children's Badminton Federation of India.
