MP Mobile Health Service Reaches Villages 86 Villagers Undergo Health Checkups in Thakra

Haroli/Una, July 28 (Rajveer Chopra): The 'MP Mobile Health Service' caravan, operating with the aim of bringing quality healthcare to rural areas, continues to visit villages and provide free medical services to the public. As part of this initiative, villagers enthusiastically participated in a free health camp organized in Thakra village (under Palakwah Gram Panchayat) and availed themselves of the health facilities.
During the camp, 86 villagers underwent health check-ups, while 44 individuals received free laboratory tests. In addition to medical consultations, necessary medicines were distributed to patients free of cost.
Given the monsoon season, the health team raised awareness among villagers about preventing dengue, malaria, viral fever, and waterborne diseases. They advised the residents to maintain cleanliness, consume clean drinking water, and take necessary precautions to protect themselves against mosquitoes.
ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers played a pivotal role in the successful organization of the camp. They encouraged villagers to undergo health check-ups, ensuring maximum participation.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, and Nihal Singh provided health services during the event. Villagers remarked that having specialist medical facilities available right in their village saves them both time and money. They described the MP Mobile Health Service—run under the guidance of MP Anurag Singh Thakur—as a useful, public-spirited, and commendable initiative for the rural population.
