MP Mobile Health Service Camp in Baliwal Raising Awareness about the HPV Vaccine

Haroli/Una, April 1 (Rajveer Chopra):— With the objective of extending healthcare facilities to rural areas, a health check-up camp was organized in the village of Baliwal by the MP Mobile Health Service team. This camp was successfully conducted under the guidance of MP Anurag Thakur, in collaboration with the 'Prayas' organization, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers.
During the camp, a total of 78 patients underwent OPD consultations, while 35 different types of diagnostic tests were also conducted. Patients were provided with free check-ups, medicines, and health counseling.
On this occasion, villagers were provided with detailed information regarding the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine. The health team explained that this vaccine is highly effective in protecting women against cervical cancer.
Furthermore, it was announced that the HPV vaccine would be administered on April 5 and April 12. The health team encouraged parents to ensure the timely vaccination of their daughters and also dispelled various myths and misconceptions associated with the vaccine.
The camp saw the team providing services under the leadership of Dr. Pradeep, with active support also rendered by Ruchi, Manish, and Nihal.
