Move forward by doing your work Union Minister Manohar Lal

Karnal, November 29: Union Minister for Housing, Energy and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, has said that one should continue to progress without any desire for results while performing his duties. Only those who work hard will be blessed with good fortune. Actions performed with a pure heart and a spirit of public welfare will surely yield results. He said that one should study the shlokas in life. By implementing even a single sentence from any shloka in life, one can reap the benefits of the entire Gita. One should move forward in life with this thought.
The Union Minister was speaking as the chief guest at a three-day district-level program organized at the Dr. Mangalsen Auditorium here today on the International Gita Mahotsav. He earlier inaugurated and inspected exhibitions organized by various departments. The program was inaugurated by lighting a lamp. He said that until 2014, the Gita Jayanti Mahotsav was limited to Kurukshetra, but since then, it has expanded to regional, then national, and now international levels.
He informed that 500,000 children will participate in the Gita Shlokachan program to be held in West Bengal on December 7th. Gita scholar Swami Gyananand Maharaj will also participate in this program. The Union Minister said that thousands of years ago, Lord Krishna delivered the message of the Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield. He said that if we protect Dharma, Dharma will protect us. In the relationships of husband and wife, father and son, teacher and disciple, everyone has their own Dharma. Soldiers and rulers who protect the country have their own Dharma.
Mr. Manohar Lal said that the Gita is useful for everyone and shows the way to live life. He said that after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, the perception of politicians has also changed. Good people have also entered politics. He said that hundreds of organizations in Karnal are engaged in service work. To make life successful, it is important to adopt qualities like conduct, restraint, peace, clarity, patience, courage, and determination. He said that there should be no selfishness in behavior. A person should neither be overjoyed in moments of happiness nor overjoyed in times of sadness. This message of Geeta should be remembered that whatever happened was good, whatever will happen will be good.
