Ratia, January 29: The Senior Citizen Welfare Association Trust organized a joint birthday celebration at its monthly meeting last evening. First, Project Chairman Gagan Swaroop Mangla presented a detailed account of the Rs. 87,000 spent on the construction of the shed. Senior member Bhupinder Saini contributed Rs. 5,100 towards the building construction. President Bikkar Singh Advocate expressed his gratitude and congratulated all the members on the administration's recognition of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association on Republic Day.
After the meeting, the birthdays of two members, retired DSP Satpal Singh and retired Kanungo Dharam Pal Sharma, who were born in January, were celebrated with great enthusiasm by cutting a cake. Secretary Balinder Sharma skillfully conducted the proceedings.
Present on the occasion were Gopal Chand Kulariya, Shishan Pal Mangla, Gurnam Singh Teliwara, Satyaprakash Jain, artist Krishna Singh, Captain Gurmukh Singh Bhullar, Master Major Singh, Master Sukhdev Singh, Lieutenant Harbhajan Singh, Raj Kumar Khippal, and Tejinder Singh Aujla.
