Mohali Senior Citizens Associations newly formed governing body inaugurated
Mohali:- The election process of the association had been going on for a few days and was unanimously formed. Colonel PPS Narula, Presiding Officer, announced the results, where more than 140 members had gathered.
Brigadier Jagjivan Singh Jagdev was sworn in as the President and Mr. Jarnail Singh as the Vice President. Mr. Ravjot Singh was elected as the Chief Convener and Mr. Harinder Pal Singh Harry as the Secretary Public Relations, Mrs. Palwinder Kaur Pali as the Secretary Welfare and Mr. Harjinder Singh as the Secretary Events and Cultural Affairs. Apart from this, five executive members Sardar Harkirat Singh, Mr. Krishan Pal Anand, Mr. B. B. Gupta, Mrs. Manjit Kaur and Mrs. Avtar Kaur were also elected.
After this, the team of the President of the Association, Brigadier J.S. Jagdev Ji, also elected the following Associate Members, in which J.S. Thukral was the then President, R.P. Singh Vig was the Executive President, Sukhwinder Singh Bedi was the Secretary General, Jagjit Singh Rawal was the Secretary Finance, Paramjit Singh Pahwa was the Secretary Administration, Dr. Harinder Kaur Rana was the Secretary Medical, Charanjit Singh was the Secretary Project, Wing Commander Baldev Singh was the Secretary Publication and Editor, Narinder Singh Gill was the Secretary Hospitality, Jagdev Singh Pangalia was the Secretary New Organization, Paramjit Kaur Gill was the Secretary Rural Education, Niranjan Singh was the Executive Member, Dr. D.S. Ramgarhia was the Executive Member, Guldeep Singh was the Executive Member and Darshan Kaur was the Executive Member.
Brigadier Jagdev expressed his gratitude and assured that with the new and energetic team, the objectives of MSCA will be taken further, especially for the welfare of the elderly and the society. He also sought cooperation from all the members for the smooth running of the association.
