Mohali Police Arrests 2 Accused with 45 Gram Heroin

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 31: Mr. Harmandeep Singh Hans, IPS Senior Superintendent of Police District SAS Nagar, during the campaign against the bad elements launched by District Mohali Police, under the supervision of Mr. Saurav Jindal PPS Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Mr. Talwinder Singh PPS Superintendent of Police (Operation), Mr. Rajan Parminder PPS Deputy Superintendent of Police (Investigation) District SAS Nagar, Inspector Harminder Singh Incharge CIA Staff, the team of staff has succeeded in arresting 02 accused and recovering 45 grams of heroin from them.
On 30-10-2025, the CIA Staff SI Gurpartap Singh along with the police party were coming from Mohali side to Kharar side while patrolling. When the police party reached near the fort complex Kharar, two suspicious youths were seen standing near a white Activa number PB27-H-6234. On seeing the police, they left the Activa and started running away, who were caught by SI Gurpartap Singh. 
From whom 45 grams of heroin was recovered. On the basis of which a case No. 392 dated 30-10-2025 under Section 21-61-85 NDPS Act was registered against the accused at Police Station City Kharar and both the accused were arrested.

Name and address of the accused:-
1. Accused Charanjit Singh alias Channi son of Daljit Singh resident of House No. 133 Ward No. 11 Kurali Hall resident of Uchi Gali, Backside of Christian School Kharar, District SAS Nagar whose age is around 35 years, who has passed 12 classes and is unmarried. A case of NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Police Station Mullanpur Garibdas.

2. Accused Parminder Singh alias Pamma son of Balwant Singh near Atta Chakki Shivraj Enclave Sector-127 Kharar, District SAS Nagar whose age is around 30 years, who has passed 12 classes and is unmarried. No case has been registered against him earlier.
The accused are under 02-day police remand, who are being questioned regarding heroin and from whom the accused used to purchase heroin and supply it further.
