SAS Nagar, October 23- Mohali Police has arrested 5 persons with a country-made pistol. Giving information in this regard, DSP City 2 Shri Harsimran Singh Bal said that these persons were arrested during checking under the leadership of Inspector AmanDeep Singh, head of Sohana Police Station, as part of a special campaign against anti-social elements on the instructions of SSP Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans.
He said that the police had received secret information that some dangerous persons could commit incidents at night at gunpoint, for which a police party was formed, and during continuous checking in the area of Sohana Police Station, the accused Arm Singh resident of Chhoti Haveli, Muhammad Arbaz resident of Najwabad, Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh), Harsh Sharma resident of village Chika Haryana, Baljinder Singh resident of Nurpur Ropar, and Paramjit Singh resident of Lehra Sangrur were arrested, and one country-made pistol (315 bore) and 12 live rounds (315 bore) were recovered from them. 
He said that in this regard, the police has registered a case under Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act and further investigation is being carried out to trace the forward and backward links of the accused.
