Mohali, July 24, 2026:- Mohali Industries Association (MIA) successfully organized the second capacity building program at MIA Bhawan, Mohali with the aim of further empowering MSME units. Industrialists and MSME representatives participated in this program in large numbers.
On this occasion, MIA General Secretary Rakesh Vig said that under the dynamic leadership of the Association President Ashok Gupta, continuous knowledge and capacity development programs are being organized to strengthen the MSME sector.
During the workshop, detailed information was given about the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Also, the facility of live GeM registration was also made available for the participants on the spot. During the question-answer session, the industrialists enthusiastically asked their questions and received detailed answers from the experts.
Shubhangi Kumar gave information about the various services provided by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). Apart from this, S. M. Goyal, who has more than 35 years of experience in the Punjab Industries Department, discussed in detail the MSME schemes, incentive schemes of the Central and Punjab Government and their benefits. Finally, Rakesh Vig, while highly appreciating the efforts of Dr. Deepti and her team, announced that the third Capacity Building Program will be organized on 21st August 2026 at Mia Bhawan, Mohali.
