Karnal, July 17: Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a major gift to the state by inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for various ambitious projects worth about Rs 15,000 crore, giving a new impetus to the development of the state. Not only this, on this historic occasion of the Prime Minister's visit, Haryana has received the important gift of the country's first hydrogen train, which has been operated between Jind and Sonipat.
Mr. Kalyan was speaking as the chief guest at a district-level program held at the local Mangalsen Auditorium today. On this occasion, he handed over keys for 'Grih Pravesh' (housewarming) to five beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). These include Reena and Sushma from Tusang village, Seema Devi and Kalasho from Jabhala village, and Shakuntala from Kheri Jatan. Similarly, cards were distributed to five beneficiaries of the Transport Department's 'Happy Card' scheme. These include Sunita, Bhaumika, Tamanna, Sunita, and Jyoti. He also congratulated and extended best wishes to the beneficiaries of the 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana' on the release of the 9th installment.
The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off the country's first hydrogen train from Jind and gave a huge gift to the people of Haryana by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of various development projects worth about Rs 15,000 crore. This is the result of the tireless efforts of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always worked for the development of Haryana. He had launched the 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' campaign from Panipat, Haryana in 2015. Historical initiatives like the 'Swachhata Abhiyan' (Cleanliness Drive) also began from the sacred soil of Haryana. He expressed confidence that a self-reliant and progressive Haryana will play the most important role in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve of building a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) by the year 2047. He mentioned that major schemes have been given to Haryana, including a Medical University in Kutail, a Horticulture University in Nilokheri, and an AIIMS institute in Rewari. The state government is working for the welfare of every section including farmers, laborers, traders, employees, and women.
He said that under the leadership of Union Minister and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal and current Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana has witnessed significant changes in recent years. Today, the way the country has become strong, the country's economy and culture have been strengthened. Several schemes are being run by the Center and State governments to make farmers and poor people economically strong, for women's empowerment, youth skill training, and more. The country is moving towards becoming a developed nation in 2047 and everyone has to ensure their participation in this.
Rally is an example of environmental protection On this occasion, Indri MLA Ramkumar Kashyap said that this rally organized in Jind today has become an example of environmental protection. Where the Chief Minister, ministers, MPs, MLAs, and lakhs of workers used only CNG and electric vehicles. He said that the program organized in Jind today was eco-friendly. No one used petrol-diesel vehicles to reach the venue.
New energy infused by PM's visit Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand said that the state has progressed significantly under the chief ministership of Nayab Singh Saini and former CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal. Certainly, Haryana will have a major contribution to realizing the resolve of making India a developed nation by 2047. He said that the country is moving ahead in various fields. Keeping future challenges in mind, the way the country is making a start is commendable. Whenever he visits Haryana, it definitely infuses new energy and brings new projects that work to further accelerate the progress of the state.
Nilokheri MLA Bhagwandas Kabirpanthi said that the Prime Minister has given a big gift to the country and Haryana today. PM Modi is inaugurating the Green Highway from Sonipat to Narnaul. On the demand of the Sikh community, he is laying the foundation stone of a grand Sikh museum in Kurukshetra at a cost of Rs 160 crore. Similarly, a rail corridor and two AIIMS will also be inaugurated in Kurukshetra.
Gratitude expressed to Modi, Manohar Asandh MLA Yogendra Rana said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off this hydrogen train between Jind and Sonipat with the resolve to make India developed by 2047. Compared to the 2-3 coach trains running in other countries of the world, this will be the world's first hydrogen train to include 10 coaches. The MLA expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Manohar Lal for this historic achievement in the country's development. He said that Asandh assembly constituency is adjacent to Jind and a large number of people from here also left for the Jind program.
On this occasion, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta said that today Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched India's first hydrogen-powered train from the historic land of Jind, Haryana. It is a matter of joy that Jind is his birthplace and from this land today, the country's Prime Minister has given gifts worth thousands of crores to the people of the state.
BJP District President Praveen Lathar said in the program that today is a historic day for the whole country and especially for the state of Haryana. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh, Haryana is progressing continuously.
