Modern Sewerage System to be Developed in Tahliwal 2410 Crore Project Approved

Haroli/Una, June 9: The path has been cleared for the development of a modern sewerage system in the industrial town of Tahliwal, located in the Haroli Assembly constituency. The State Government's Jal Shakti Department has granted administrative approval for a sewerage project costing ?24.10 crore. Expenditure sanction of ?1 crore has also been issued for the initial implementation of the project.
Deputy Chief Minister and Haroli MLA Mukesh Agnihotri stated that a modern sewerage system was the need of the hour, given the growing population, industrial activities, and urban expansion in the Tahliwal area. He said that under this ambitious project, a modern sewerage network would be developed in Tahliwal town, ensuring the scientific management of wastewater.
He added that the completion of the project would strengthen sanitation systems in the area, promote environmental conservation, and provide better civic amenities to the people. Furthermore, it would give new momentum to the planned urban development of Tahliwal and its surrounding areas.
Mukesh Agnihotri affirmed his commitment to strengthening basic infrastructure in the Haroli Assembly constituency. In line with this, various projects related to education, health, drinking water, irrigation, road connectivity, and urban amenities are being advanced on a priority basis. He stated that continuous efforts are being made to provide modern facilities to the people of the area and to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in the queue.
