Bhawanigarh, July 21:- Under the series of strengthening basic facilities in villages and encouraging the youth of the state towards sports by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, MLA from Sangrur constituency Narinder Kaur Bharaj inaugurated the specially prepared modern 'Mukh Mantri Gym' in village Kapial.
During this inaugural ceremony, the MLA was given a warm welcome by the villagers and area residents.
After inaugurating the gym, addressing the gathering, MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that there is no dearth of talent among the youth of Punjab. With the establishment of gyms in villages, on one hand the youth will be inspired to pay attention to their health, and on the other hand, staying away from bad company and drugs, they will bring glory to the village and the country in the field of sports. She said that the government is committed to providing sports grounds and gyms in every village.
There will be no shortage of grants for the all-round development of village Kapial and more development works will be started in the coming time.
On this occasion, Sarpanch of the village Harpal Singh thanked MLA Bharaj on behalf of the entire village. He said that there is great enthusiasm among the youth with the establishment of 'Mukh Mantri Gym' in the village and the Panchayat will always be ready for the development of the village.
During this ceremony, Sarpanch Harpal Singh, all Panchayat members, Santpal Singh, Avtar Singh, Sukha Mann and Gurpreet Singh Fagguwal were specially present. Apart from these, other prominent leaders of the area, respectable persons of the village and a large number of youth were also present on this special occasion.
