MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa flagged off the tenth bus of pilgrims from Pandawala
Dera Bassi, March 10:- MLA from Dera Bassi constituency S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today flagged off the tenth bus of pilgrims from Pandawala village of the constituency under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme of the Punjab Government for the darshan of Sri Harmandir Sahib and other major religious places. Before the departure, MLA Randhawa prayed for the well-being, good journey and progress of all the pilgrims.
On this occasion, MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme is a public welfare scheme of the Punjab Government, the purpose of which is to provide facilities to the elderly and pilgrims to visit religious places. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is giving special priority to the service of the elderly and this scheme is a living example of it.
He further said that with this scheme, there is an atmosphere of happiness and enthusiasm among the elderly of the constituency because now with the help of the government, they can easily visit the holy religious places. He said that buses of devotees are being continuously sent from Derabassi constituency under this scheme so that maximum people can take advantage of it.
On this occasion, the leaders, workers of the Aam Aadmi Party and the residents of the area also sent off the devotees by giving their best wishes.
