MLA Jimpa Inaugurates 2Kilometer Road from Chakk Sadhu to Khadka
Hoshiarpur: Accelerating development works in Hoshiarpur, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated a road spanning approximately 2 kilometers, connecting Chakk Sadhu to Khadka on the Hoshiarpur-Una road. The construction of this road cost ?25.90 lakh. This project will provide residents of the area with better and smoother commuting facilities.
MLA Jimpa stated that providing basic amenities to the local people is his priority. Roads are a crucial link in the development of any region, and improving the roads that connect rural areas to main thoroughfares is essential. He noted that the Punjab government is continuously undertaking development projects for the convenience of the public, and such works will continue in the future based on the area's needs.
He mentioned that the construction of this road would particularly benefit travelers heading to Una (Himachal Pradesh), residents of nearby villages, students, farmers, and other commuters. He added that officials have already been instructed to ensure high quality in development works and to complete projects on a priority basis, keeping the people's needs in mind.
On this occasion, Sarpanch of Uparli Khadka Kulwinder Kaur, along with Avtar Singh, Harmesh Lal, Baljinder Ram, Prakash Kaur, Balwant Kaur, Charan Kaur, Panch Nasib Chand, Akash, Gurmukh Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Panch Sukhwinder Kaur, Onkar Singh (Panch), and other dignitaries and local residents were present.
