MLA Jimpa inaugurated the construction of a tubewell in Jahankhelan village

Hoshiarpur:- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today formally inaugurated the construction of a tubewell in Jahankhelan village at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. The villagers were particularly excited on this occasion. The construction of the tubewell is expected to provide a permanent solution to the drinking water problem of the village. MLA Jimpa said that the aim of the state government is to provide basic facilities to every village so that the villagers can get clean drinking water and water required for agriculture.
He said that the construction of tubewells will provide relief to the common people from water shortage. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that this initiative has fulfilled the long-standing demand of the villagers and will give a new impetus to the development of the village. He said that the government is constantly striving for the development of the area and more development works will be carried out in Jahankhelan village in the coming time.
The MLA instructed the officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated time frame and in a quality manner, so that the people can get its benefits soon. On this occasion, Block Samiti Member Mukesh Kumar, Youth President Preetpal, Jugal Kishore, Amandeep Kaur, Ramit Deol, Ravi Kumar and village Sarpanch Parveen Kumari were specially present. Everyone thanked the MLA and said that this tubewell is a big gift for the village.
