MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa Inaugurates New Classrooms at Government Elementary School Bajwara

Hoshiarpur: Under the Punjab government's 'Education Revolution Campaign' (Sikhiya Kranti Abhiyan), MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated new classrooms constructed at a cost of ?7.50 lakh at the Government Elementary School in Bajwara. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is continuously working to improve the condition of government schools and provide better educational facilities to students.
MLA Jimpa emphasized that strengthening infrastructure in government schools is one of the Punjab government's top priorities. With this objective in mind, the government is ensuring the provision of new classrooms, modern amenities, a clean environment, and quality education in schools, thereby enabling students in both rural and urban areas to receive a superior education. He added that these ongoing reforms in the education sector would serve as the foundation for a bright future for the state's children in the times to come.
He noted that previously, due to a lack of facilities in government schools, parents were compelled to send their children to private institutions; however, the Punjab government is now transforming government schools into modern, well-equipped institutions, leading to a steady increase in public trust in the government education system. He further remarked that investing in education is akin to investing in the future, and the state government is working with complete commitment in this direction.
On this occasion, the school staff and local residents expressed their gratitude to MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa, stating that the construction of the new classrooms would provide students with the opportunity to study in a much-improved environment. They also lauded the developmental initiatives being undertaken by the Punjab government in the education sector.
Present at the event were Deputy District Education Officer Amandeep Sharma and Sarpanch Rajesh Kumar Babbu, alongside various departmental officials, School Management Committee (SMC) members, teachers, students, and a large number of local residents.
