MLA Bhiraj Inaugurates Development Projects Worth Rs 12 Lakh in Village Basiarkh
Bhawanigarh, June 17:- Under the 'Lok Milni' (Public Meeting) campaign, constituency MLA Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bhiraj visited village Basiarkh today, where she interacted with the residents to hear their grievances and discuss development works.
During the visit, MLA Narinder Kaur Bhiraj inaugurated the construction of the village's main entrance gate, which will be built at a cost of approximately Rs. 8 lakh. She stated that this gate will strengthen the village's identity and enhance its aesthetic appeal.
Additionally, development works for the Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Dharamshala, costing about Rs. 4 lakh, were also inaugurated, providing better facilities for religious and social activities.
On this occasion, villagers brought their needs and issues related to village development to the MLA's attention. MLA Bhiraj stated that the main objective of the Punjab government is to ensure that the benefits of government facilities and development projects reach the people. She highlighted that record-breaking development work is underway in Punjab, and continuous efforts are being made for the welfare of every section of society.
She added that programs like 'Lok Milni' build a direct connection with the public and help resolve issues promptly. She assured the villagers that every necessary task for the village's development would be completed on a priority basis, and there would be no shortage of funds.
All panchayat members, Darshan Singh, Sandeep Singh, Raman Singh, Gurcharan Singh Naraingarh, various leaders, and a large number of villagers were present on this occasion.
