Mission Hospital conducts one week service drive during cold wave
Ambala, January 14:- The continuous service drive conducted by the staff of Philadelphia Mission Hospital, Ambala city for a week during the ongoing bone-chilling cold and cold wave set an example of humanity. This compassionate effort was carried out every day from January 5 to January 13, 2026, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM by ambulance.
During this period, the hospital team reached out to the garbage collectors, beggars and the needy sleeping in the open with warm cloth packets and blankets and distributed blankets etc. with sensitive care and respect to them, which gave them relief from the cold.
This entire service drive was conducted under the leadership of the Director of the hospital, Dr. Sunil Sadiq. Amit Kapoor, Sukhdev Singh and Vishal also demonstrated the spirit of service by giving their valuable time for the drive. The hospital administration said that providing assistance to the most vulnerable members of society during this period of extreme cold is their priority and such humanitarian efforts will continue in the future as well.
