Karnal, October 13: Rishita Dang of Christ University, Delhi NCR, won the silver medal at the 2025 International Kukkiwon Cup Taekwondo Championship held at the K.D. Jadhav Hall of the Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi.
Over 1,500 athletes from India, Japan, the Philippines, Nepal, and Korea participated in this prestigious championship. Rishita displayed exceptional skill and determination to win a medal in the senior women's over 73 kg category.
International Taekwondo Referee and her coach, Manish Kumar of the Champions Academy of Taekwondo, Karnal, congratulated Rishita and her parents on this remarkable achievement and wished her a bright future. Rishita Dang will also represent India at the World University Games held in Germany from July 17, 2025, to July 23, 2025, this year.
