Minister Vij disposed of files despite not being well
Ambala, February 27:- Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij has said that the speed of administration is determined by the speed of files. If files stop, then the work of the government stops. Therefore, he has given clear instructions to his departments that no file should remain pending unnecessarily.
An example of this work culture was seen today when the Senior Secretary of his office, Shri Vijay Sharma, reached the residence of the Energy Minister in Ambala Cantonment for processing and disposal of files. During this, Vij gave clear instructions that "no work/file should remain pending in my office under any circumstances." He managed the departmental files from his residence. He said that "delay in public matters is unacceptable and timely disposal/resolution is a priority in his working style."
The Energy Minister said that transparency and accountability in administration are ensured only when the decision-making process is fast, clear and result-oriented. He has directed the officers to expedite all proposals, schemes and financial approvals as per the rules so that development works are not hampered. He said that departments like Energy, Transport and Labour deal directly with the common citizen. Delay in files in these departments directly affects public facilities, services and schemes.
The Energy Minister also said that the use of technology is making the file disposal process more transparent and efficient. The file status is constantly monitored through e-office system and digital tracking, which eliminates the possibility of unnecessary delays. Vij, while cautioning the concerned officers, said that it is the primary responsibility of the government to meet the expectations of the public.
