Migrant Workers in Village Bathu Sensitized on Fire Safety

Haroli/Una, March 14 (Rajveer Chopra):- Migrant workers in Village Bathu, located within the Haroli Assembly constituency, were sensitized regarding fire safety measures. During the session, the workers were informed that incidents of fire can be prevented by observing simple precautions.
The workers were advised that after cooking, and before leaving for work, they should either cover their stoves thoroughly or douse them with water to eliminate any risk of a fire breaking out.
Furthermore, if incense sticks or earthen lamps (diyas) have been lit, they must be completely extinguished before leaving the house. It was highlighted that negligence often leads to fires in shanties or living quarters, potentially resulting in loss of life and property.
Therefore, an appeal was made to all workers to remain vigilant and adhere to fire safety regulations to prevent any kind of accident.
Present on this occasion were Sunil Dutt (In-charge, Fire Station Tahliwal), Firefighter Ravinder Singh, and Driver Rajiv Kumar.
