Hoshiarpur:- A grand cultural function was organized under the leadership of School Principal Sunil Kumar and Madam Jasvir Kaur to honor the brilliant students of class VIII at the Government Middle School of village Mehmadwal. In which, apart from the school students, members of the School Managing Committee, parents and students participated enthusiastically.
On this occasion, Shiromani Children's Literature Writer Baljinder Mann, who was born in this village, presented the Shri Girdhari Lal Memorial Scholarship to the students and said that students who work hard day and night achieve high and pure goals. Therefore, our responsibility is that we take advantage of this precious time and achieve great achievements by working hard.

On this occasion, the topper students of class VIII, Alam son of Rahmat Ali, Harpreet son of Vikas, Lokesh Kumar son of Balwinder Singh, were honored with cash scholarships.
