Jalandhar:- To mark the 130th birth anniversary of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha—who was born on May 24, 1896, in village Sarabha (Ludhiana) and was executed on November 16, 1915, at Central Jail, Lahore—a memorial discussion will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the local Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall to pay tribute to his immense sacrifice.
Sharing this information with the press, Kulwant Singh Sandhu, President of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee; Gurmeet Singh, General Secretary; and Amolak Singh, Convenor of the Cultural Wing, stated that during this discussion, Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar (Dr.), Assistant Secretary of the committee, will deliver a keynote address on the theme 'Exemplary Life and Contribution of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha.' 
In the eyes of Baba Sohan Singh Bhakna, the founding president of the Ghadar Party, the contribution of the party's young general, Kartar Singh Sarabha, remains a bright chapter of unique revolutionary history in the chronicles of freedom, which will continue to serve as a guide for the younger generation.
