Meeting organized on Pradhan Mantri Vaishnav Bharat Rujgar Yojana

Chandigarh, November 20:- Under the vision of Vaishnav Bharat-2047, the Government of India has implemented Pradhan Mantri Vaishnav Bharat Yojana on 1st August 2025 to promote employment generation in the country, under which an incentive amount of about Rs. 1 lakh crore will be provided to employers and job seekers for 3.5 crore new jobs. With the immediate implementation of this scheme, Haryana has left behind the big states and reached the fourth position in the country.
A meeting was organized today at Kaushal Bhawan, Panchkula with the officials of Technical Education Department, Senior Secondary Education Department, Employment Department, Skill Department and Principals of ITIs, who are organizing the Job Fair, under the leadership of Haryana Labour and Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department Shri Rajiv Ranjan.
Principal Secretary Shri Rajiv Ranjan said that there are 2 main components in the structure of this scheme in which if the new employee has registered with EPFO ??between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2027, the monthly salary is less than Rs 1 lakh, such a new employee will be provided with an additional allowance of Rs 15000 in Employees' Provident Fund in two installments by the Government of India.
He said that the second installment will be linked to the financial literacy program. To get the benefit of this scheme, the employee must complete 12 months/literacy module in an organization. If the number of employees in the organization is less than 50, then two or more posts can be created and if the number of employees in the organization is more than 50, then five or more posts can be created. In this scheme, the organization will be provided with an incentive amount of up to Rs 3000 per employee per month for 2 years.
For applying in this scheme, the Ministry of Labour, Government of India has created a portal pmvbry.epfindia.gon.in / pmvbry.labour.gov.in. The Principal Secretary informed that if any organization has not filed its EPF returns till date due to any reason and is willing to avail the benefits of this scheme, then no penalty will be imposed on it for filing the old EPF returns.
On this occasion, Director General and Secretary of the Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training Dr. Vivek Agarwal and other officials were present.
